This year’s Fiesta Night and Auction features the country of
What: Every year the Arco Iris PTO hosts a fantastic party to celebrate our students, school, and community, and at the same time, we raise funds for the continued success of our school.
Who: We invite all current, prospective and former parents, grandparents, and friends of the school and extended community members to attend this great evening.
When: Saturday, April 12, 2014: 6:00pm- 10:00pm
Why: As a public charter school in the Beaverton School District, Arco Iris receives only 80 percent of the funding of traditional public schools in the same district. The Arco Iris school board requests that the PTO fundraise throughout the year to assist in closing that gap, with the Fiesta Night and Auction as our biggest event.
All funds raised through PTO events are used to pay for school operational expenses and for teaching services. Last year, our goal for the auction was $50,000 and our community came together in a spectacular way to exceed that goal. Thank you!
Our goal for the auction this year is $65,000 – which is about $375/student. When we all work together to meet that goal, we ensure that our children’s school and education opportunities continue to be remarkable.
First, plan to attend this great night! Think about friends, family and other community members who might enjoy attending with you. Every year we hear people say, “I had no idea it would be such a fun night, I’m so glad we came.” Tickets go on sale the beginning of March.
