It’s March already!
The Arco Iris school board is working with our colleagues at the Beaverton School District on the school’s charter renewal. Our school operates on a 3-year contract with the district, and we are in our third year of our first agreement. All is going well and we are anticipating an official decision within the next month, then we move onto the details of our next contract. We are right on track and are very happy with the relationships we have built with the district these past three years. We are feeling supported at all levels and are looking forward to continuing our relationships with them.
The Arco Iris school board will have a working meeting next Tuesday, March 5th at 6:00 pm at Beaverton Christian Church. This meeting is open to the public, but there will be no public comment. The agenda will be posted on our Board Page no later than Monday.
Classroom Auction Baskets – We are still collecting items for the themed classroom auction baskets until March 8th. Bins will available to drop off donations during pick up time and during conferences. Detailed request letters were sent home with your child last week. Be sure to check the list below to see which basket(s) you have been assigned. The first classroom to donate 15 items wins a prize!

Science Fair Help Needed – We need volunteers to help us at the science fair. Please take a moment to sign up to help out. We need set up helpers, project reviewers, evening clean up, and help with take down on Friday. Please check this link for more details. Thank you! Without our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to have great events like these.
Our next PTO meeting will be held Tuesday March 5th in Maestra Nikki/Jeannette’s classroom. See you at 6:00 pm (please note this is a time change).
The next SCRIP orders are due Wednesday, March 6th and will delivered on Friday, March 15. Order forms are in the tower across from the office.
