Book Fair – Thanks to everyone who volunteered and shopped at our book fair last week. We’ve raised over $2,000 in scholastic money for our teachers to spend on resource items and books for the classrooms! For those of you who weren’t able to attend, you’re in luck! The book fair is online until November 9th.  There are more titles to choose from in both English and Spanish available on line.  You can also create wish lists and send to family and friends, think holiday giving!

SCRIP – We are ready to commence our SCRIP Program this year. SCRIP has over 100 stores gift cards to choose from, like your favorite grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants, and more! Order Forms will be available at the school (located outside the office) as well as by clicking here: Scrip Order Form Nov 2012. Please make your checks payable to “Arco Iris” and put it in an envelope with your order form in the drop box located in the hallway outside Maestra Maria’s classroom. The orders need to be picked up by parents ONLY with a picture ID, under no circumstances will orders be sent home with the students.

Jaguars Read – Please turn in your Jaguars Reading logs for October. There is a folder on the wall across the hallway from Maestra Mercy’s classroom where we collect them. Click here for our November log sheet: Jaguars Read November 2012

PTO Meeting – There will be a PTO meeting on Tuesday, November 6th at 6:30 pm at the school. Agenda is here: PTOMeetingAgenda-November 2012

Chevy’s Restaurant Night. Our next monthly restaurant night is at Chevys (1951 NW 185th Ave, Hillsboro) on November 14th. You will need the attached flier Chevy’s Flyer Nov 2012. Chevys is donating 15% of proceeds to Arco Iris school – dine in or carry out, and it’s ALL DAY (11:am – 10:pm)!
