Thank you Carmen Bernier-Grand!

Carmen Bernier-Grand shares her books with Arco Iris students on October 15, 2012

To wrap up Hispanic Heritage Month, Carmen Bernier-Grand, a Portland based writer of children’s books from Puerto Rico, visited our school yesterday! She showed slides from Puerto Rico, told our students stories about growing up in Puerto Rico, and even shared about the writing process.

Our students loved her stories and her interactive, engaging presentation. Thank you Carmen for sharing with us!

You can find out more about Carmen Bernier-Grand at www.carmenberniergrand.com

And, Carmen has donated TWO autographed books for our upcoming annual auction coming up in April 2013!
