Back to School = Reading

Back to school means back to routines, maybe some homework, and hopefully daily READING!

Our teachers would like their students to read at home every day. So head out and visit your local (air conditioned!) library this week. Many kids like familiar titles as their first Spanish book – so grab that Dr. Seuss book, even if your kids graduated from “Green Eggs in Ham” years ago. Because “Huevos verdes con jamon” has a new ring to it.

Also, check out this article from another bilingual blog. All week they will be posting articles on Back to (bilingual) School.
