From the Mazamas website: The Mazama Lodge is a large, three-story wooden building completed in 1960. There are three dormitories and three private rooms. Spacious decks offer stunning views to the north and south. The third level also has men’s and women’s bathrooms with large tiled showers. On the second level is the main floor dining area and lounge, with comfortable seating around a beautiful stone fireplace. The lounge is enhanced by a piano for sing-alongs, and there are plenty of games, books, and magazines. Also on the lounge level is a TV room with VCR and an assortment of family-oriented videos. Kids of all ages will especially enjoy the basement level with its large recreation room and ping-pong, pool, and foosball tables. Ski lockers, laundry facilities, and a drying room are also found in the basement. The Lodge offers many areas where families and groups can gather for cards, discussions, or other private activities, or where new friendships may be started or old ones renewed.
